Endon Squash Ocean spray blue table lamp base 29 cm B22 111255

Name: Endon Squash Ocean spray blue table lamp base 29 cm B22 111255
Brand: Endon

Endon Squash 111255 is a table lamp base rather than a complete lamp with a shade. Its ceramic body has five rounded horizontal tiers finished in blue Ocean spray reactive glaze. A slender stem and metal lampholder provide a brushed aged-brass finish above the glazed body.Complete the lamp with a shade and bulbNeither a lampshade nor a bulb is included. Endon recommends a decorative fabric shade with a 25 cm diameter or a 24 cm raffia shade. These sizes offer a starting point when putting the lamp together; the attachment of your chosen shade must also be checked for compatibility before purchase. The ceramic body remains visible beneath it, so consider the proportions of the assembled lamp as well as the shade colour. The single lampholder takes a B22 LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. B22 is a bayonet fitting, not an E27 screw fitting. The separately purchased bulb determines brightness and light colour, while the shade also affects light distribution. Switching is at the metal lampholder. The manufacturer identifies the base as non-dimmable.Base dimensions and electrical connectionThe base measures 29 cm high without a shade, with a ceramic-body diameter of 11 cm. Overall dimensions will therefore change with the shade you select. Endon specifies use in bedrooms and living rooms. When choosing a position on a table, compare the available space with the complete assembly, rather than relying only on the base dimensions. The silver-grey braided cable is 1.5 m long. The documentation specifies a UK three-pin plug and a 220–240 V supply. For a different socket standard, a suitable connection must preserve the protective earth: this is a Class I fitting. Do not assume a plug adapter is included.Glaze variation and careHandcrafted ceramic and reactive glaze can produce differences in the colour details of individual pieces. The rounded tiers and aged-metal finish lend themselves to classic or vintage interiors. Clean with a dry cloth after disconnecting the supply, without liquid or abrasive cleaners. The instructions require a stable, level surface and exclude bathroom use.Show more
