BISCUIT 100 is a pendant lamp with an aluminium shade shaped as a flat bar 98.5 cm long, finished in ochre red — a warm, brick-like tone. The lower edge of the shade is cut into a row of rounded scallops, a built-in 12 W LED strip works inside the housing, and the lamp hangs on two transparent cables. How big it is and how to hang it The shade measures 98.5 × 13 × 6.5 cm — a narrow line to compare with the table or island it will hang over. The cables are spaced 54 cm apart and, on the manufacturer's drawing, have their own ceiling anchors beside the 23 × 5.5 × 3 cm canopy — three fixing points in all. The maximum drop is 200 cm and the suspension is adjustable; over a table the lower edge of the shade usually sits 70–80 cm above the top. The lamp weighs 1.7 kg. It is protection class I, so the ceiling box needs an earth conductor; it runs on 230 V, 50 Hz. How much light it gives, and what kind The light source is an LED strip hidden deep inside the aluminium housing — it is included and cannot be replaced like an ordinary bulb. At 12 W it produces 1420 lumens, nearly twice an old 60 W bulb (about 800 lm) — enough as the main light over a table or worktop. Light leaves evenly along the whole shade, and the recessed strip does not shine into the eyes of people sitting below. 4000 K is neutral light — without the yellow cast of a warm bulb or a bluish coolness. The colour rendering index is 98 on a scale to 100, where 80 is the usual value, so wood, textiles and food keep their colours. The manufacturer also declares flicker-free operation. Remote, app, DALI or PUSH DIMM control are made-to-order versions, not equipment of this one. Which interiors it suits The manufacturer intends BISCUIT 100 for the table and kitchen island, for a studio or home office and a relaxation area, and for hotel receptions, restaurants, cafés, spas and showrooms. The collection also includes a 131 cm pendant, a wall light and a desk lamp in the same shape, in 3000 K or 4000 K and more than a dozen colours. The lamp is made in Poland with a five-year manufacturer's warranty.Show more
