BISCUIT is a narrow, elongated Thoro wall light in a strong yellow: 33.6 cm tall by 5.8 cm wide, two G9 sockets and light aimed downwards. Aluminium, made in Poland. A narrow upright that lights downwards The proportions here are function, not styling. The fitting is 33.6 cm tall and under 6 cm wide, so it projects minimally and fits where a conventional shaded sconce would be in the way — beside a mirror, next to a door frame, in a narrow corridor, over a bedhead. The light leaves at the bottom, giving a vertical wash on the wall rather than a diffuse glow through the room. That distribution is comfortable for reading and does not dazzle someone sitting alongside, but it will not light a room on its own — this is a supplementary fitting. Yellow as material, not as trim The body is entirely aluminium, painted a saturated yellow. That is a design decision requiring a deliberate choice: a yellow sconce does not disappear into the background but becomes a colour element of the room, visible with the light off too.
