BISCUIT is a narrow, elongated Thoro wall light in a strong yellow: 33.6 cm tall by 5.8 cm wide, two G9 sockets and light aimed downwards. Aluminium, made in Poland. A narrow upright that lights downwards The proportions here are function, not styling. The fitting is 33.6 cm tall and under 6 cm wide, so it projects minimally and fits where a conventional shaded sconce would be in the way — beside a mirror, next to a door frame, in a narrow corridor, over a bedhead. The light leaves at the bottom, giving a vertical wash on the wall rather than a diffuse glow through the room. That distribution is comfortable for reading and does not dazzle someone sitting alongside, but it will not light a room on its own — this is a supplementary fitting. Yellow as material, not as trim The body is entirely aluminium, painted a saturated yellow. That is a design decision requiring a deliberate choice: a yellow sconce does not disappear into the background but becomes a colour element of the room, visible with the light off too. It works in schemes that already have one strong accent and need it echoed, and in neutral spaces — against a white or grey wall it acts as a block of colour. The aluminium also has a practical job here: it carries heat away from two G9 sources, which run noticeably warm in a small housing. Two G9 sockets, 8 W maximum The sconce takes two G9 bulbs of up to 8 W each; bulbs are not included. The G9 base today means chiefly small LED capsules, which at 8 W typically give 700–900 lumens — two of those are enough to light a mirror zone or an armchair. Choose bulbs of identical colour temperature, and if dimming is planned, check that they are dimmable: the fitting itself holds no dimming electronics. The construction works in **protection class I**, meaning an earth conductor must be connected — this is not a fitting for an unearthed box.
