FOCUS S C052CL-01BS is a Maytoni surface-mounted spotlight shaped as a slim cylinder just 52 mm across and 100 mm tall. It is made of aluminium with a brass finish and fixes straight onto the ceiling – no cut-out, no void needed above the slab. Where it fits A fitting this narrow works exactly where recessed downlights cannot go: on a concrete ceiling, in a flat without a suspended ceiling, on a mezzanine. The compact form and the warm tone of brass suit modern and mid-century interiors – over a worktop, in a hallway, beside a painting, at a reception desk or in a hotel restaurant. Several units in a row make a discreet line of accent light. Light source The luminaire takes one GU10 lamp of up to 10 W, so you choose the colour temperature and output yourself – from a warm 2700 K above a table to a neutral 4000 K over a work surface. Changing the lamp takes seconds and does not require removing the fitting. The manufacturer does not rate it for use with a dimmer.
