Nocar Large LED Exterior Wall Light - Textured Black Elstead

Name: Nocar Large LED Exterior Wall Light - Textured Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

The large Nocar is an exterior LED wall light from Kichler, distributed by Elstead Lighting. It takes the form of a slim vertical aluminium bar, 76.2 cm tall, held by a box-shaped wall bracket roughly halfway along its length. The body is finished in textured black — matt, with a fine-grained surface visible in the close-up shots. Size and mounting on the facade The fitting is 76.2 cm high and 12.7 cm wide, and projects 9 cm from the wall. Compare that height with the free strip of wall you have in mind — beside the front door, between windows or on a terrace pillar — because the bar hangs vertically and sets the line of light on the wall. The wall light weighs 1.04 kg. It is a Class I fitting, so the installation must provide a protective earth connection. For mounting on the corner of a building the maker offers a separately sold corner bracket: C-BKT2-BLACK in black or C-BKT2-BROWN in brown. Without it, the light is fixed to a flat wall. How much light, and what kind The source is an integrated 39 W LED module producing 1800 lm, more than twice the output of a traditional 60 W bulb. The module is built into the fitting and supplied with it, so there are no bulbs to buy, but the source itself cannot be replaced. At 3000 K the light is warm white, close to that of a classic incandescent bulb. The maker describes the effect as wall washing: the bar spreads light up and down along the wall instead of throwing a single pool forward, which brings out the texture of the facade. The fitting runs directly from 230 V mains with no separate driver, and it is not dimmable. Where it works An IP44 rating means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the light can be mounted on an exterior wall of the house: by the entrance, on the facade facing a terrace or next to the garden. The aluminium body does not rust. The style is modern — a plain geometric shape with no ornament. The Nocar family also includes a medium version, 56 cm tall, 20 W and 1150 lm, intended for shorter stretches of wall.Mostrar mais
