Quintiesse Loras QN-LORAS1 wall light, chrome, 1×E27

Name: Quintiesse Loras QN-LORAS1 wall light, chrome, 1×E27
Brand: Quintiesse

The Quintiesse Loras QN-LORAS1 wall light combines a polished chrome steel frame with a clear seeded-glass shade. A black fabric-covered cord loops around the projecting arm, while the bulb remains visible through the glass. The exposed cord, metal fittings and widening shade give this particular wall light its industrial, vintage-influenced appearance.Allow for the full projectionThe fitting measures 441 mm high and 146 mm wide, with a projection of 219 mm from the wall. Its rectangular backplate is 380 mm high, 127 mm wide and 25 mm deep. Compare both the overall dimensions and the backplate with the intended mounting area: the shade is wider than the plate, and the arm occupies space in front of the wall.In a hallway or corridor, check the projection against the walking route and any nearby opening door. In a living room, bedroom, dining room or study, it offers supplementary wall lighting without taking up a tabletop. The manufacturer specifies interior use. Despite the visible fabric cord, the fitting is not height adjustable, so plan its position using the stated overall height.Choose the visible bulb separatelyLoras takes one E27 bulb rated up to 60 W, or a suitable LED equivalent. No bulb is supplied. The clear shade makes the appearance of the chosen light source part of the design; the manufacturer recommends vintage filament bulbs. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the bulb you select rather than on the chrome fitting itself.Dimming requires a compatible dimmable bulb and a suitable dimmer switch. The dimmer is not included either. This is a Class I mains-powered fitting for a 220–240 V supply. An industrial detail rather than a task lampThe reflective metal, black cord and small bubbles in the glass suit industrial, loft and retro interiors. Its decorative form can also complement hotel rooms or restaurant interiors. Treat it as supplementary lighting rather than a dedicated directional reading or work light. Since the glass leaves the bulb on show, consider its shape as well as its lighting specifications when choosing it.Pokaż więcej
