Envirostik (sponge on a stick) hygienic sampling sponge with a straight handle, dosed with buffered peptone water. Supplied in an easy-open stomacher pouch. Recommended for: Environmental monitoring or food sampling where neutralization of chemical residues is not desired. An alternative method to sponge sampling. Ideal for: Easier handling and sampling of organisms from hard-to-reach areas, including: TVC, Listeria spp., Staphylococci, Enterobacteriaceae (e.g., Salmonella), E. coli (E. coli / E. coli / E. coli), Enterobacter, Staphylococci, Klebsiella, E. coli, Enterobacter, Enterobacter sakazakii. Precautions and Limitations: Buffered peptone water (BPW) is a general medium and will therefore capture all organisms. Further selective steps are required. It is recommended to rinse/wipe the sampling area on carcasses with BPW after sampling, as residues may lead to unwanted proliferation/growth. Alternatively, you can use TS/15-SA.
