Orb Poseidon is a floor lamp 170 cm tall in which a mouth-blown smoked glass globe rests in a fork of three slim metal rods. The frame is black and stands on a tripod of three splayed feet. The globe is 30 cm across and the whole lamp stays within a 30 by 30 cm footprint. How much room it takes At 170 cm the globe sits roughly at the eye level of a standing adult, so above the back of an armchair — this is a lamp to place beside a seat rather than behind it. The tripod covers 30 by 30 cm of floor and is open underneath, so the lamp slides between furniture and wall without a solid base in the way.
