Marette IP44 Wall Light - 1 Light - Polished Chrome Elstead

Name: Marette IP44 Wall Light - 1 Light - Polished Chrome Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Marette is a wall light by Kichler, distributed by Elstead Lighting, with a square-section shade of satin-etched cased opal glass. The shade sits on an arm made of a flat, twisted bar, and the whole fitting fixes to a rectangular wall plate. The metal is finished in polished chrome, a cool, mirror-like shine.Dimensions and mountingThe wall light is 41.3 cm high and 12.7 cm wide, and projects 14.3 cm from the wall. The back plate measures 12.7 × 18.5 cm; compare that with the space above a basin or beside a mirror where the light is to go. The fitting weighs 1.26 kg and is protection class I, so it needs an earth connection. In the photos the shade faces upwards.Light sourceThe fitting has a single G9 lampholder, and a 3 W G9 LED lamp with a colour temperature of 3000 K, a warm white, is included. The light therefore works as soon as it is installed, and a replacement should be a G9 LED lamp of up to 3 W. The satin opal glass spreads the light across the whole shade with no visible bright spot. The wall light works with a dimmer when a dimmable G9 lamp is fitted.Bathrooms and other roomsThe IP44 rating means protection against water splashes from any direction, which is why the manufacturer intends Marette for bathrooms, for example beside a mirror. Polished chrome pairs well with chrome bathroom taps and fittings. The wall light also works in a dining room. According to the manufacturer it suits traditional as well as modern interiors. The Marette series also comes in black and nickel.Pokaż więcej
