Casa 2 Light Wall Lantern - Olde Black Elstead

Name: Casa 2 Light Wall Lantern - Olde Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Casa is an outdoor wall lantern by Hinkley, distributed by Elstead Lighting, with a cylindrical shade of clear seeded glass and two candle-style lampholders inside. The aluminium frame in an Olde Black finish carries scrolled ornaments above and below the glass and a twisted vertical rod that joins the lantern to a rectangular wall plate. Size and wall mounting The lantern stands 54.1 cm tall, is 24.8 cm wide and projects 23.6 cm from the wall. Compare the height with the free space between the door and the eaves or a window — that figure decides whether the fitting suits the spot you have in mind on the facade. It weighs 2.85 kg, and the surface behind the wall plate has to carry that weight. For mounting on the corner of a building the manufacturer offers the separately sold corner bracket C-BKT2-BLACK or C-BKT2-BROWN; without it the lantern needs a flat wall. The fitting is Class I, which means it must be connected with a protective earth conductor. Lamps and outdoor use Casa takes two E14 lamps of up to 40 W each and runs on 230 V mains. Lamps are not included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself; the manufacturer recommends a clear LED E14 candle lamp for this lantern, sold separately. The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps — dimming needs a dimmer and a lamp marked as dimmable. The IP44 rating means protection against splashing water from any direction, which is why the manufacturer specifies the lantern for mounting on the outside of a building. Style and the Casa family The scrolled ornaments, the twisted rod and the dark, aged finish give the lantern a rustic character with a Spanish touch. It suits the facade of a house as well as that of a hotel or restaurant. The Casa family also includes a smaller single-light lantern, a chain lantern, a wall light and two chandeliers, so the same motif can carry from outside to inside.Pokaż więcej
