ASTO 3 is a surface-mounted spot bar for the ceiling or the wall. Its rectangular brushed-aluminium base is 45.5 cm long and carries three movable GU10 holders with ribbed rings. The luminaire connects directly to a 230 V supply. How big it is and where to mount it The base measures 45.5 cm long by 6.5 cm wide, and with the heads angled the fitting stands 10.5 cm off the surface. Compare those figures with the space you have above a worktop, above a shelf unit or on a stretch of hallway wall — the bar is narrow, but it clearly projects from the ceiling plane rather than sitting flush inside it as a recessed fitting would.
