Endon Hidcote 111365 table lamp base, natural wood and brass, B22, 44.5 cm

Name: Endon Hidcote 111365 table lamp base, natural wood and brass, B22, 44.5 cm
Brand: Endon

Endon Hidcote 111365 is a table lamp base made from solid wood with a natural finish and a brass lampholder. Its turned profile combines narrow sections, a rounded centre and a flared foot. This is the base-only version, supplied without a shade or bulb, so those two elements need to be selected separately rather than assumed to form part of a complete lamp.Choose the shade and light sourceEndon recommends pairing the base with one of its decorative fabric shades measuring 30 cm in diameter. The base itself measures 13.5 cm across, so its footprint is not the full space requirement of the finished lamp. When considering a side table or chest of drawers, check the available width at shade level as well as the surface beneath the foot. The shade's colour and shape are not fixed by this article. The single B22 socket takes an LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. No bulb is included. Colour temperature and light output therefore depend on the source you buy, rather than on the wooden base. The 10 W figure is a bulb power limit, not a stated brightness for the assembled lamp. A switch is located on the lampholder, and the manufacturer specifies this model as non-dimmable.Allow for height and the socket positionThe base, including its lampholder, is 44.5 cm high. Remember to account for the chosen shade when checking clearance beneath a shelf. A grey braided cable provides 1.5 m of length; compare that with the distance to your intended mains socket before deciding where to place it.The manufacturer's documentation specifies a 220–240 V supply and a UK three-pin plug. Check compatibility with your local socket before use, particularly outside the UK.A turned wood profileThe pale wood body and brushed aged-brass finish suit classic and rustic interiors. Hidcote can form an occasional table lamp for a living room or bedroom. Its final appearance and light distribution will also depend on the separately selected shade and bulb.Meer tonen
