Lillehammer 2295CG is an outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular body in powder-coated cast aluminium, finished in Cement Grey. It throws light in one direction only — upwards — and the optical glass lens sits in the upper end face of the housing. What this fitting actually lights The maker gives a 4° beam angle facing up and ULOR 100%, so all the light goes upward. The LED module makes 504 lm, but only 14 lm leaves the fitting through that narrow optic — hence the luminaire efficiency of 3.5 lm/W. It is not a misplaced decimal point but the consequence of a four-degree beam. In practice Lillehammer 2295 draws a narrow band of light up the wall above itself. It is a fitting for picking out a facade or a wall plane, not for lighting an entrance or a walkway. The maker computed the distribution curve for a 2.5 m mounting height. Size and mounting The housing measures 18.5 cm long, 11 cm wide and 8 cm deep — the longest side runs along the wall and the body stands 8 cm out from its face. It fixes on two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm, following the instructions supplied with it. The fitting weighs 1.57 kg. The terminals accept conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and looping further fittings through up to 3 × 1.5 mm². The gland is sized for round cable between 7 and 10.5 mm in diameter. Dimming and supply The luminaire dims on trailing-edge phase control — an ordinary TE dimmer on the circuit is enough, with no bus and no gateway. Supply is 230 V, and the whole fitting draws 4 W against 2.8 W for the LED module itself. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional incandescent lamp, at a colour rendering index of Ra 80 and a colour spread of SDCM3. Neither the LED module nor the driver is user-replaceable — the maker reserves both for a qualified electrician and rates the driver at 50,000 h. Build The body is a powder-coated aluminium casting sealed with a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland. IP65 and IK08 allow it to go on an unsheltered wall. The luminaire is protection class I, so the earth conductor has to be connected.Show more
