Bazar Bizar Côa S Stoneware Serving Platter, 17 × 9.5 cm

Name: Bazar Bizar Côa S Stoneware Serving Platter, 17 × 9.5 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

Bazar Bizar's Côa S is a small oval serving platter made from stoneware in Portugal. Its raised rim surrounds a speckled interior; the manufacturer's photographs show a brown edge against a greyish centre. This is handmade tableware, rather than a plate with a consistently uniform colour.Understanding the small formatThe platter measures 17 cm long, 9.5 cm wide and 3 cm high. Size S occupies a narrow, elongated area of the table, so compare those measurements with your existing place settings before choosing it. It is a dish for serving food, not a large tray for carrying a complete meal. The Côa collection also includes other sizes. The photograph showing several nested platters illustrates the product family, not a set supplied with this particular version.Colour varies from piece to pieceThe maker explains that this handmade ceramic can vary noticeably, from grey to shades with a blue undertone. The piece you receive therefore need not reproduce the photograph's colour exactly. A speckled centre, darker rim and rounded outline give this kitchen or dining accessory a rustic character. Pairing it with other Côa pieces maintains the collection's shared form, but does not guarantee an identical shade across the tableware. Before first useThe manufacturer's care advice is to wash the dish and dry it thoroughly before using it. Avoid sudden temperature changes with ceramic items. The exact product specification does not confirm oven, microwave or dishwasher suitability. Those capabilities should not be assumed solely because the platter is made of stoneware.Show more
