Perth pendant lamp - 1 light source - Brushed gold Elstead

Name: Perth pendant lamp - 1 light source - Brushed gold Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Perth is an Alora Mood pendant: a domed shade of openwork woven rattan with a matte opal glass globe protruding beneath it. Above the shade sits a cup in a brushed gold finish, and the whole light hangs from a rigid rod in the same metal. The manufacturer describes it as a mid-century-inspired fitting that pairs metal with a natural material. It is distributed in Poland by Elstead Lighting. Dimensions and hanging height The shade is 37.5 cm across and the fitting itself is 26.4 cm high — a diameter that stays in proportion over a table about 80 cm wide. Overall height runs from 45.7 to 147.9 cm. It is fixed at installation by assembling the suspension from the rods supplied: three of 30.5 cm, one of 15.2 cm and one of 10.2 cm. Over a dining table they are usually chosen so that the bottom of the globe sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop. The round ceiling canopy is 10.2 cm across and 2.5 cm high. The light weighs 2.7 kg. Bulb and light Inside the glass globe is one E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 60 W. No bulb is supplied. The matte opal glass hides the bulb itself and diffuses its light, so it does not dazzle people sitting at the table. For dining and living rooms a warm 2700–3000 K is the usual choice, and an LED bulb of about 800 lm gives as much light as an old 60 W bulb. The pendant is compatible with dimmable bulbs: dimming needs such a bulb and a dimmer switch. It is a Class I fitting, which must be connected to earth, and it is for indoor use. Where to hang it The manufacturer intends Perth for dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms and corridors; in a dining room it works best hung over the table. Woven rattan, glass and brushed gold make a modern fitting with a warm, natural accent that sits well with wood and linen.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
