The Mantra KAZZ 8136 is a round ceiling light with a wood-effect outer shell and a curved white diffuser. Designed by Santiago Sevillano, it combines a broad dome with a shallow profile rather than a hanging cable. The finish resembles timber, but the manufacturer specifies metal, ABS and acrylic, not a solid-wood housing.A broad shade with a shallow dropThe light is approximately 50 cm across and 13.8 cm high. Its technical drawing gives the more precise diameter of 502 mm, a useful measurement when checking clearance around the fitting. Unlike a pendant, the body stays close to the ceiling and leaves the space beneath it free of a suspended shade. Its height is not adjustable.This format can serve as general lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway. Compare the full diameter with the available ceiling area and nearby fittings before choosing a position. The continuous lower diffuser covers the lamps: this is not a spotlight bar with individual beams that can be aimed at separate objects.Choose six compatible lamps separatelyThere are six E27 lamp holders, and light sources are not included. The installation instructions specify LED lamps rated at no more than 20 W each. They also set a maximum lamp diameter of 60 mm and height of 110 mm. Check both dimensions as well as the cap type, since an E27 lamp is not automatically small enough to fit beneath the diffuser.Brightness and colour temperature depend on the sources you select. The illuminated photograph does not mean bulbs with that particular light colour are supplied. Mantra identifies the fitting as non-dimmable, so replaceable lamps should not be taken as evidence that the complete light is suitable for a dimmer.Wood appearance, specified synthetic materialsThe rounded silhouette, unadorned edge and visible grain pattern suit contemporary, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors. It can accompany wooden furniture without being described as a wooden fixture itself.
