Jules wall light - 2 light sources - Brushed Nickel Elstead

Name: Jules wall light - 2 light sources - Brushed Nickel Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Jules is a two-light wall light by the American brand Hinkley, distributed in Europe by Elstead Lighting. The steel frame in a brushed nickel finish is made of stamped ovals arranged in pairs one above the other, and a white linen half-drum shade runs across its middle. The manufacturer also lists opal glass among the materials. Size and installation The wall light is 51.5 cm high and 21.8 cm wide, and projects only 9.8 cm from the wall. With such a shallow profile it also fits where people need to pass close to the wall — in a narrow corridor, by the stairs or on either side of a bed. The tall, slim shape fills a vertical stretch of wall well, for example between windows or either side of a mirror or chest of drawers; for a pair, compare the 21.8 cm width with the width of the furniture they will flank. The fitting weighs 1.28 kg and is Class I, so it requires an earth connection. It is intended for indoor use only. Bulbs and light Under the shade are two E14 holders, each for a bulb of up to 40 W; bulbs are not included. Elstead recommends clear-glass E14 LED candle bulbs for this wall light: 4 W, 400 lm and 3000 K. Two of them give about 800 lm in total for 8 W — the same as one old 60 W bulb, which makes this accent lighting rather than the main light of a room. The linen shade diffuses the light and sends part of it up and down along the wall, onto the oval pattern of the frame. The fitting works with dimmable bulbs: dimming requires a dimmer and two bulbs marked as dimmable. Where it fits Hinkley calls the Jules silhouette transitional — combining the classic motif of a repeating oval with the simple, contemporary form of the shade, which corresponds to the modern classic style in our catalogue. The wall light suits a dining room, living room and bedroom, especially as a pair on either side of a piece of furniture or a doorway.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
