Copenhagen 1 Light Chain Lantern - Silver Elstead

Name: Copenhagen 1 Light Chain Lantern - Silver Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Copenhagen is an outdoor chain lantern designed by Elstead Lighting after Danish harbour lamps. Horizontal steel rings surround a clear glass globe beneath a wide hood, and the whole lantern is made of 304 stainless steel powder-coated in silver. Size and hanging The lantern itself is 25.1 cm tall and 22 cm across, and weighs 1.23 kg. It hangs on a 65.5 cm chain, so the overall drop from the ceiling can be set between 37.5 and 97 cm — shorter under low eaves, longer under the higher ceiling of a terrace or gazebo. The fitting is Class I and must be connected with a protective earth conductor. Built for outdoor conditions The IP44 rating means protection against splashing water from any direction, and the manufacturer specifies the lantern for outdoor installation. 304 stainless steel with an added powder coat resists corrosion, so the lantern can also be installed in coastal areas where the air carries salt. Lamp Copenhagen takes one E27 lamp of up to 60 W and runs on 230 V mains. The lamp is not included; the manufacturer recommends a clear LED E27 lamp in the classic A60 shape, sold separately — the clear glass leaves the lamp on show, so its shape affects the look. The fitting is compatible with dimmable smart lamps, meaning the wirelessly controlled lamp itself sets the brightness, with no dimmer to install. Where it fits The Scandinavian shape with its tiered rings suits plain facades. The lantern hangs under eaves, on a balcony or terrace, in a gazebo, or at the entrance of a hotel or restaurant. The Copenhagen family also includes a black version and wall lanterns in silver, black and brushed stainless steel.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
