UNICA WHITE/GOLD is a three-light ceiling fitting built on a round white canopy 32 cm across, from which three metal shades in white-and-gold vertical stripes hang on short drops of differing lengths. Overall height is 40 cm. The fitting belongs to the UNICA range from the Polish maker Keter Lighting and is assembled by hand in Częstochowa. Construction and finish Frame and shades are both metal — no glass, no plastic. The canopy is finished in white lacquer, and the shades carry the range's characteristic rhythm of alternating bands: matt white and a gold close to brass in tone. The three drops are of different lengths, so the shades sit at three levels and the piece reads as three-dimensional rather than flat — that is its main visual effect, clear from the side and less so from directly below. Light The shades are open at the bottom, so the bulb stays visible. That matters when choosing one: a decorative globe lamp with an exposed filament works well here, because it becomes part of the composition rather than just a light source. The metal shade passes no light sideways — output goes downwards and produces three distinct pools rather than an even wash. UNICA therefore works well over a dining table, a kitchen island or a worktop, while as the sole light in a large room it needs supplementing. Lamps and power The fitting has three E27 sockets and accepts lamps up to 60 W each. No bulbs are supplied — they are bought separately, which leaves the colour temperature and output up to you. Three LED lamps of 6–8 W give brightness adequate for a dining area; decorative filament lamps at 2200–2700 K give a warmer, more atmospheric result. Mounting and use The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling on a standard 230 V supply. An IP20 rating restricts it to dry rooms — not the shower zone of a bathroom and not outdoors. Gross weight is 2 kg, so beyond ordinary ceiling fixings no special anchoring is needed. UNICA range variants The same form is offered in BLACK/GOLD, BLACK/SILVER and WHITE/SILVER, and in plain BLACK and WHITE. Beyond the ceiling version the range includes a single-light wall fitting and pendants with one, two, three and five lights.
