Casa 5 Light Chandelier - Olde Black Elstead

Name: Casa 5 Light Chandelier - Olde Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Casa is a five-arm chandelier by Hinkley, distributed by Elstead Lighting. The steel frame has a twisted stem and arms ending in forged scrolls, finished in a dark, aged black (Olde Black). Each arm carries an open cylinder of clear seeded glass – glass with small air bubbles – through which the lamp remains visible. Size and hanging The chandelier is 63.5 cm in diameter and 64.8 cm high. The overall drop adjusts from 82.8 cm to 230 cm on 152.4 cm of chain, so it can be set for a low room as well as a high one. Over a dining table the lower edge usually sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop – subtract about 150 cm from your own ceiling height to find the drop you need. The fitting weighs 7.88 kg and needs a secure fixing point in the ceiling. It is a Class I fitting, so it must be connected to earth. The manufacturer specifies it for interiors only. Lamps The chandelier has five E27 lampholders, each taking a lamp of up to 60 W. Lamps are not included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself. Because the glass is clear and the cylinders are open, the lamp stays on show – decorative clear lamps suit it well. The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps: dimming needs a dimmer switch and E27 lamps marked as dimmable. Which interiors it suits Casa has a rustic character: forged, twisted steel, scrolled details and seeded glass give it the look of a traditional Spanish-style light. It is intended for above a dining table, for hallways and for hotel interiors. The Casa series also includes a smaller three-light chandelier, wall lights, and wall and chain lanterns in the same finish.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
