BISCUIT 100 is a linear pendant 98.5 cm long in beige, made of aluminium by the Polish manufacturer Thoro. The 12 W LED module delivers 1420 lumens at a neutral 4000 K. CRI 98 — the headline figure here The manufacturer declares a colour rendering index of 98 on a scale whose maximum is 100. The large majority of LED fittings in this price bracket stop at 80; good models reach 90. The difference is visible to the naked eye wherever colour matters: wood, textiles, food on the plate and skin tones keep their saturation instead of going grey. If the lamp is to hang over a table, in a studio, or anywhere materials or colour samples are examined, this single figure matters more than the wattage. Diffused light, not a spot The fitting emits diffused light along the whole length of the shade rather than a focused beam. Over a worktop that means no hard shadows from hands and dishes, and even brightness along the entire table — which a single spot cannot deliver. 1420 lumens is enough to light a table for six as the dining area's main light. Proportions and hanging The shade is 98.5 cm long and only 13 cm wide — a line, not a volume. That proportion suits a rectangular table, a kitchen island, a reception counter or a desk. The suspension is adjustable and allows hanging up to 200 cm below the ceiling; over a dining table the lower edge should sit about 75–85 cm above the top.
