Barbour Wall Light with White Shade 1xE14 Harbor Bronze Quoizel Elstead

Name: Barbour Wall Light with White Shade 1xE14 Harbor Bronze Quoizel Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Barbour is a wall light designed by Quoizel and sold through Elstead Lighting. The steel frame is finished in Harbor Bronze, a dark bronze, and a white fabric shade sits on top of a long vertical rod. At 67.6 cm tall it is a slim, tall form, closer to a wall-mounted torchiere than to a small wall light.Size and mountingThe wall light is 67.6 cm high and 20.3 cm wide, and it projects 23 cm from the wall. The round wall plate sits in the upper part of the fitting, while the clear rod with its bronze end cap runs well below it, so the full height has to be allowed for when planning the spot, not just the shade. Compare the 20.3 cm width with the free strip of wall where it is meant to hang. The fitting weighs 1.4 kg and is protection class I, which means it has to be connected to an earth conductor. The manufacturer specifies it for indoor use only.Lamp and lightThe fitting has one E14 lampholder for a lamp of up to 40 W. No lamp is included. It is compatible with dimmable lamps, so brightness can be set with a dimmer as long as the chosen lamp is marked as dimmable. Elstead recommends a dimmable Litec E14 LED candle lamp for this model: clear, 4 W, 400 lm, 3000 K, which is warm white. The fabric shade hides the lamp and diffuses its light, so the wall light never shows a bare source. With a 400 lm lamp it gives mood lighting that supplements the room's main light.Style and useThe manufacturer describes Barbour as a modern design: clean geometry, a clear rod with a ring below the shade, and dark metal set against white fabric. The wall light is intended for a dining room, where its tall silhouette fills a vertical stretch of wall.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
