FOCUS C010CL-01B is a surface-mounted ceiling luminaire shaped as a plain black cylinder, 6 cm across and 13 cm tall. It fixes straight onto the ceiling — no aperture to cut, no void needed above the board — which makes it a fit for concrete ceilings or any build where nothing is suspended. The narrow tube directs the light vertically downwards, giving a defined, concentrated beam rather than a diffuse wash. The beam angle of the lamp you pick decides the effect: narrow (24–38°) gives a strong accent on a picture, a worktop or a display; wide (100–120°) brightens a larger part of the room. Because the fitting is not dimmable, the light level cannot be varied even with a dimmable lamp on an ordinary switch. Where it works Protection class II means double insulation — the fitting needs no earth conductor, which simplifies installation on older circuits without a PE wire. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry rooms. It looks right in a row above a kitchen worktop or island, along a corridor or over a reception desk — and on its own as a pool of light for a reading chair or a shelf. The black finish disappears against a dark ceiling and stands out sharply against a white one, so the shape of the fitting becomes part of the composition.
