GFA1480C Recessed Light Fixture, White, Gea Luce

Name: GFA1480C Recessed Light Fixture, White, Gea Luce
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GFA1480C combines a recessed ceiling base with a slim cylindrical spotlight head that remains visible below the ceiling. Its aluminium body has a satin white finish. The circular trim and unadorned tube suit modern, minimalist interiors, but this is not a fully flush downlight: the adjustable head remains part of the room's visible lighting arrangement.Aim the light rather than fixing its directionThe head tilts through 0–90° and rotates through 350°, so the mounting position does not restrict the beam to pointing straight down. Its 38° beam allows directed accents on a picture, displayed object or furnishing detail. Consider the distance to the illuminated surface when setting the head. A single focused spotlight should not be confused with uniform general illumination across an entire room. The integrated 7 W LED module delivers 522 lm in warm white at 3000 K. A colour rendering index of CRI >90 matters when lighting artwork, textiles or merchandise whose colours need to be seen clearly. This version is not dimmable and uses on/off switching. Adjusting the head changes where the beam falls, not its brightness.Check the cut-out before preparing the ceilingThe installation manual specifies a 47 mm mounting hole. The trim diameter is 60 mm and the tube diameter is 35 mm; the technical drawing shows a length of 119 mm. Compare these dimensions with the intended installation position before cutting. Allow for the movement of the projecting head rather than checking the circular trim alone. The trim diameter is not the required cut-out diameter.LED module and transformer includedBoth the LED source and transformer are supplied, so there is no separate bulb to select for this fitting. The supply is 220–240 V AC, and installation must be carried out by qualified personnel. Its directed beam can provide accent lighting in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and corridors, as well as hotel interiors and retail displays. Where general lighting is needed, plan complementary illumination alongside these focused points.Show more
