The Zambelis H80 is a reading wall light with a movable stick on a rectangular 5 × 12 cm back plate. The body is metal and aluminium finished in matt black, and an on/off switch is built into the lower part of the plate. The manufacturer lists it under hotel and bedroom lighting, and the LED is permanently integrated. How much light it gives and where it points The fitting draws 3 W and puts out 180 lm at 3000 K, warm white with a slightly yellow cast. The output is narrow and concentrated: enough to read a book by, not enough to light a whole room, so the H80 works alongside the main lighting rather than in its place. Colour rendering is Ra 80. The stick is 1.6 cm across and 9.5 cm long and swivels in the body, so the beam lands on the page instead of in the face of the person next to you. Zambelis quotes a colour spread of SDCM below 2.9, which means two units fitted either side of a bed show the same shade of white. Size and mounting The plate measures 5 cm wide and 12 cm high, and the fitting stands 5.5 to 13.5 cm proud of the wall depending on how the stick is angled. Compare those figures with the gap between your own bed and the wall. Mounting is surface: the manufacturer states no cutting hole and no depth required, so the light screws onto a finished wall with no chasing. There is no supply flex or plug — it wires straight into a 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz circuit. Safety class I means the box needs an earth conductor. IP20 restricts the fitting to dry interiors. Operation and running The light is switched at the fitting itself, without crossing the room to the door switch. It is not dimmable — it runs on/off whatever dimmer sits in the circuit. The LED is fixed in place and cannot be replaced; the stated life is L70B50 30 000 h, about 27 years at three hours a day. The warranty runs 3 years.
