Amenity 90 is a linear wall light from Rendl: a slim 90 cm bar closed at both ends with chrome caps. An opal cover runs along the front, and behind it sits a permanently built-in LED module — the fitting lights up as soon as it is connected, with no bulb to buy. How big it is and where it belongs The bar is 90 cm long and 4 cm tall and stands only 4.6 cm off the wall, so above a mirror it stays out of the way while shaving or brushing teeth. That length matches a mirror 60–90 cm wide — the light then covers the whole surface rather than only its middle. The fitting weighs 1.1 kg, so fixing it calls for no reinforced wall. The driver is included and sits inside the housing, which means no separate box or recess for control gear above the mirror. How much light Amenity 90 gives The LED module draws 11 W and puts out 580 lm. This is task light at the mirror — it brightens the face and the basin top, and does not replace ceiling lighting for the whole bathroom. 3000 K is warm white, warmer than daylight but without the yellow cast of a traditional bulb. The opal cover spreads the light evenly along all 90 cm, so no hard shadows fall across the face and no single bright point reflects in the mirror. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough for everyday tasks at the mirror. Where it works The manufacturer intends Amenity for bathrooms, including above the mirror, and for hotel and restaurant interiors.
