Name: Keter Lighting Lars Black 1775 wall lamp, 2 × E27, diamond wire cage shades, black, 50 × 25 × 27 cm
Brand: Keter Lighting

Lars Black 1775 is a two-light Keter Lighting wall lamp in black metal, with both bulbs held in open, diamond-shaped wire cage shades. The lampholders hang from a horizontal arm that leaves a round wall plate, and the cables run on the outside in loose loops above the arm.How big it is and where to hang itThe wall lamp is 50 cm wide, 27 cm high and projects 25 cm from the wall. Compare the width with the piece of furniture or stretch of wall it is meant to hang above. The 25 cm projection matters in a passage: that is how much space the lamp takes up in front of the wall. The fitting is rated IP20, which means it is intended only for dry indoor rooms. What light it givesThe lamp takes two E27 bulbs, and the maker states 60 W. Bulbs are not included, so you choose the brightness and colour of the light yourself. The wire cage hides nothing: the bulb stays fully visible and the wires throw a sharp geometric shadow onto the wall. That is why the bulb decides how the lamp looks — a decorative filament shows its filament through the cage, while a frosted bulb gives a more even, less graphic light.BuildThe frame and shades are black metal. Open cages, visible cables and plain black put the lamp in the loft and industrial style. Keter Lighting makes the same design as a single-light wall lamp and as ceiling lamps for three and five bulbs, in black, white and versions with gold, so this wall lamp can be paired with a ceiling lamp from the same series. The maker states that its lamps are made in Poland.Show more
