Maytoni Venera H260-05-N Ceiling Light

Name: Maytoni Venera H260-05-N Ceiling Light
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Venera H260-05-N is a round flush ceiling light with a brass-coloured metal frame and a pale cotton shade on a PVC backing. A pierced metal band wraps around the shade, forming a repeating scroll ornament. A lower diffuser closes the fitting on the room-facing side. The contrast between the fabric surface and the patterned metal gives this version a more decorative appearance than a plain drum ceiling light.A 50 cm fitting without a hanging suspensionThe light measures 50 cm in diameter. The manufacturer's installation drawing distinguishes a total height of 19 cm from a body measurement of 16 cm. Use the overall dimension when assessing the space below your ceiling rather than treating the body measurement as the complete fitting height. Compare the diameter with the available ceiling area and the position of tall cupboards or other furnishings. This version mounts directly at the ceiling using the mounting bar shown in the instructions. It has no chain or suspension cable for adjusting a drop. Height-adjustment information for pendant lights elsewhere in the Venera family does not apply to H260-05-N.Five E27 sockets and replaceable lampsThe fitting accommodates five E27 bulbs, with a maximum permitted rating of 60 W per bulb. Check bulb dimensions as well as the screw base so that your chosen lamps fit beneath the shade. Colour temperature and actual brightness depend on those lamps; the socket count alone does not establish a light-output figure.Maytoni lists the fitting as non-dimmable. Choosing bulbs labelled dimmable does not by itself confirm that brightness control is supported. The lower diffuser screens the sources from view when looking up at the ceiling light.Where the decorative band belongsThe brass finish and repeated ornament suit a classical interior. Consider this close-to-ceiling form for a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway when a low-hanging shade is not wanted. In a hotel or restaurant, the metal decoration can relate to other furnishings. Assess the required illumination separately for the actual space rather than assuming that its decorative appearance or five sockets guarantee sufficient brightness.Show more
