VT-802-W is a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight shaped as a plain white tube. The fitting has no LED of its own — a GU10 holder sits inside it, the lamp of your choice goes into that holder, and the light leaves through the single opening at the bottom of the cylinder. How much room it takes under the ceiling The cylinder is 7 cm across and hangs 10.7 cm below the ceiling line. The second figure matters more than the first: that is how far the fitting brings the ceiling down at the mounting point, so in a low room or over a doorway it is worth comparing against the headroom you have. It mounts on the surface, so no cut-out and no void above the ceiling are needed — the fitting suits places where the ceiling cannot be bored through, concrete for instance, or cladding with no drop behind it. Installation and supply The base screws to the ceiling with three screws into wall plugs, so fitting it needs a drill and a bit matched to the ceiling material. The supply cable connects to the live, neutral and earth terminals inside the body. The manufacturer rates it IP20, which is no protection against water — the spot belongs in dry interiors only, not above a shower and not outdoors.
