Trio MAAS rust-coloured outdoor wall lamp 262460124
Trio MAAS 262460124 is an outdoor wall lamp shaped as a half-dome of rust-coloured die-cast aluminium. The shade is closed across the top and open along the lower edge; unlit photographs show a light interior. With a bulb fitted, light leaves through that opening and washes down the wall beneath the fitting, rather than projecting forward like a caged lantern. A 15.5 cm projection, wall mounting only The lamp is 27 cm wide, 14 cm high and projects 15.5 cm from the wall. The manufacturer's drawing shows a backplate 25 cm wide, 12.5 cm high and about 1.5 cm thick. Trio specifies wall mounting only. At 14 cm high it will not light a path from ground level. The fitting weighs 0.7 kg and the pack weighs 1 kg. One E27 lampholder up to 10 W, bulb not included No light source is in the box. There is one E27 holder, a 230 V 50 Hz supply and a 10 W limit. The bulb must be bought separately and must stay within that limit. Trio lists LED retrofit 987-60 as the reference source: 4.9 W, 470 lm, 3000 K, CRI 80 and energy class F. Those figures belong to that excluded reference lamp, not to a fixed output of the wall light. The installation sheet does not confirm dimming, so a dimmer already in the circuit is not evidence that this fitting can be dimmed. IP44 for a facade, balcony or terrace IP44 protects against solid objects larger than 1 mm and against water splashed from any direction. That is splash protection, not a rating for immersion or a hose jet. The manufacturer places the lamp in a garden and names a balcony, a patio and a house facade, so the supported places are an exterior wall, a balcony, a terrace and a garden wall. The installation sheet marks 0.2 m from an illuminated surface. A rust-coloured half-dome, not a lantern The form is one semicircle with a fine rust-coloured texture, without an ornamental cage or forged detail. Trio's style field says modern, which matches the photographs. The rust colour identifies article 262460124 in the MAAS family; the same half-dome in another finish is a different variant.Show more
