The Hollow Zigzag M is a brass candle holder shaped as a cylinder: 10 cm across, 15 cm tall, open at the top. The whole wall is pierced — interlocking zigzags forming a dense, repeating lattice. The manufacturer gives the colour as gold and the material as brass. What the pierced wall does The candle stands inside the cylinder and brass is opaque, so sideways the light escapes only through the cut-outs. Instead of an even glow, the drawing of that same pattern appears on the tabletop and on the wall behind the holder.
