What is in the box and what to buy alongside The box holds four items: the IKKE profile (1 pc), the S10 cover in polycarbonate (1 pc), plastic end caps (4 pcs) and metal mounting clips (4 pcs). Four caps and four clips let you cut the three-metre length into two shorter runs and close each of them at both ends. Neither the LED strip nor a driver is included — three metres of profile call for three metres of strip, and the driver is sized from the strip's power draw per metre. The manufacturer places the driver outside the profile, so plan a spot for it. Profile dimensions and which strip fits The profile is 12.5 mm wide and 7.3 mm high, with an internal channel of 10.9 mm. That last figure decides the strip: the common 8 mm and 10 mm widths go in. At 7.3 mm high the profile stands less than a centimetre off the surface, which matters under a wall cabinet or along a furniture edge. What the transparent cover does The S10 cover is clear polycarbonate with a 10.5 × 3.6 mm cross-section. It passes more light than any other version of this cover, but the individual diodes stay visible as dots. Where the line of light should read as continuous, the same profile takes the frozen (11-3442-30) or milky (11-3441-30) cover. Fitting The profile mounts on the surface — on the metal clips screwed to the substrate, or on double-sided tape, which is not in the set. Light leaves perpendicular to the mounting surface.
