SKI 1390 is a NORLYS outdoor wall light that doubles as an outdoor power point. The wedge-shaped housing measures 20 cm across and 13 cm high, and the light leaves through a narrow slot along the bottom edge. The 1390BL version is powder coated in RAL 9005 black. Size and how it mounts The fitting projects 13.5 cm from the wall and weighs 0.94 kg, so it needs no reinforced substrate: two screws pass through ø4.2 mm holes 122 mm apart. The terminals take up to three 2.5 mm² cores, and the entry is sized for a round cable of ø7 to ø10.5 mm. The luminaire is protection class I, so the supply circuit must have a working earth conductor. With two sockets built into the body that is a requirement, not a recommendation. How much light SKI 1390 gives The LED module and driver are part of the fitting — there is no bulb to buy and none you change yourself; both are replaced by a qualified electrician. The luminaire draws 5.2 W. The module itself produces 653 lm and 371 lm leaves the lens, the output of a door light rather than of a driveway floodlight. 3000 K is warm white, calmer than street lighting, and Ra 80 colour rendering is enough to read the colours of a façade and of planting by the entrance. The whole beam goes downward: ULOR is 0%, so nothing is thrown at the sky or at windows above. The light dims on a trailing-edge (TE) dimmer. Two Schuko sockets under the housing Two type F (Schuko) sockets sit on the underside of the body, with a combined load of up to 16 A. That suits a terrace, an entrance or a service area where a mower, a pressure washer or a charger is plugged in regularly and nobody wants to run an extension lead out of the building. NORLYS also intends this model for hotels and restaurants, where staff need power outdoors. Build and weather resistance The base and front are hot-dip galvanised steel, the lens UV-stabilised structured polycarbonate, and a silicone gasket closes the body. IP44 covers splashing water from any direction, and IK09 means the housing withstands a 10 J impact, which matters on a wall people walk past carrying tools. It works in ambient temperatures from −20 to +45°C, and NORLYS covers the structure with a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty.Show more
