Quintiesse SILAS QN-SILAS-6P-DZ is a six-light fitting that can be installed as a pendant or as a low semi-flush ceiling light. Its circular Aged Zinc frame is paired with Heritage Brass details. Six exposed E27 lampholders let the user choose the appearance and lighting characteristics of the replaceable bulbs for the room.A circular form with industrial detailThe 72.3 cm diameter steel ring draws a clear outline, with candle-like lampholders spaced around its perimeter. Cool, raw-looking Aged Zinc contrasts with warmer Heritage Brass accents. The open structure leaves each bulb visible, so bulb shape and glass finish become part of the composition. SILAS is suited to a dining table, living space or tall entrance hall, where its broad horizontal form can be viewed without obstruction.Six replaceable E27 light sourcesThe fitting takes six E27 bulbs, each rated up to a maximum of 60 W. Bulbs are not included, leaving a choice of efficient sources with the required output, colour temperature and decorative shape. Dimming is possible only when suitable dimmable E27 bulbs are combined with a compatible dimmer. The electrical specification is 220–240 V mains operation at a frequency of 50 Hz.Two mounting configurationsSILAS can hang from its intended rod-and-chain assembly or be fitted without rods as a semi-flush light for a lower ceiling. The body itself is 30.4 cm high. In pendant form, minimum drop is 43.6 cm and maximum drop is 119.8 cm; the chosen height is set during installation. Its wide diameter calls for sufficient clearance from walls, tall furniture and opening cabinet doors.Materials, supplied parts and guaranteeThe structure is made from steel in two finishes: Aged Zinc and Heritage Brass. The package contains the fitting and components intended for its pendant or semi-flush arrangement, but it does not contain the six E27 bulbs. Installation and connection should be completed with the power isolated, following the instructions and using fixings suitable for the ceiling. The indoor fitting is covered by the manufacturer's two-year guarantee.Show more
