s.luce Echos 5-Light Chandelier, Clear Glass, Black Suspension, Ø18 cm Shades

Name: s.luce Echos 5-Light Chandelier, Clear Glass, Black Suspension, Ø18 cm Shades
Brand: s.luce

The s.luce Echos chandelier brings five clear glass shades together on one black ceiling canopy. Rounded bulges and narrower sections give each shade its waved profile, while the transparent glass leaves the selected bulb visible. Black suspensions connect the individual pendants to the shared round plate. The manufacturer specifies hand-blown glass for the shades.Five shades and the suspension lengthEach shade measures 18 cm in diameter and 20 cm in height. The shared canopy is 60 cm across and 4 cm high, so the ceiling space needs to accommodate the complete plate as well as the individual pendants. Five separately suspended elements form a substantial arrangement: compare the overall installation with the space available in your room, rather than judging its scale from one shade. The maximum drop is 500 cm. The manufacturer specifies a suspension that can be shortened, allowing the arrangement to suit the height of the interior. Before deciding on the drop, check the ceiling height and the clearance needed below the lowest shade. All five suspensions meet at the same ceiling plate.Bulbs and dimmingThere are five E27 sockets, each rated for a bulb of up to 40 W. Bulbs are not included; five need to be selected separately for the fitting. Their colour temperature and brightness determine the light from the complete arrangement. The light sources are replaceable, allowing a later change of light without replacing the whole chandelier.Dimming requires suitable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. The open bottom of each shade provides a path for light directed downwards. The fitting connects to 230 V and is protection class I, so the installation requires a protective earth conductor.Living areas, entrances and stairwellsThe manufacturer specifies this combination for living areas, entrances and stairwells, including spaces open between floors. Five repeated glass forms on slim black suspensions create its modern structure. The waved outlines remain visible when the light is off. Clear glass keeps the bulbs on view, so the shape of each light source contributes to the appearance alongside its colour temperature and brightness when selecting the five lamps.Show more
