Thoro RIO 3 TH.540 is a black pendant composed of three intersecting luminous rings. The 55, 78 and 110 cm diameters create a layered arrangement that remains visually light despite the fitting's 160 cm overall length. Aluminium profiles, transparent suspension cables and a black 90 × 30 cm ceiling canopy keep the form orderly above a table, within a tall living area or in a representative commercial space.Three integrated LED modules totalling 100 WThe built-in LED sources form part of the fitting and are included. Together they consume 100 W and deliver 13,243 lm of warm 3000 K light. A high CRI of 93 helps wood, textiles and decorative finishes retain their natural colours, making this model useful where the appearance of materials matters. Thoro specifies a 50,000-hour LED life and Anti-Flicker technology intended to limit visible flicker. The light source carries energy class F. Because the output is substantial, RIO 3 should be planned as primary illumination for a larger space rather than treated as a small decorative accent.An adjustable 160 × 20 cm compositionThe suspension can be adjusted and the complete fitting has a maximum height of 200 cm. This allows the rings to be positioned for the room height and aligned with a dining table or stairwell. Each ring profile is approximately 4 cm high, while the three diameters maintain a clear sense of depth both lit and unlit. Remote control, app control, DALI and PUSH DIMM are available as special-order options. They should not be assumed to be included with the standard version, so the required control system needs to be specified before ordering.Installation in a dry interiorRIO 3 operates at approximately 230 V and 50 Hz. Its IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas and does not provide water protection. Electrical Class I requires a correctly connected protective earth conductor. A 9 kg product weight and broad canopy call for a sound supporting surface and fixings selected for the ceiling construction. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician with the supply isolated. Made in Poland, the luminaire is covered by a five-year manufacturer's warranty.Show more
