Reverie is a drum pendant 66 cm across with an overall height of 67 cm. Panels of textured, hammered glass fill a champagne-gold frame, and two tiers of vertical glass battens hang beneath them. Two layers of glass and what they do to the light Eight light sources shine through glass with an uneven surface, so the light does not leave as a flat wall but breaks into reflections — unlike smooth glass or fabric. The lower tiers of battens take the downward output and scatter it just above the table. Eight points in one drum at 40 W give light enough for the room, not only for the table beneath. The lamps are supplied. The weight decides the mounting Reverie weighs 11.45 kg. This is not a fitting for an ordinary hook in plasterboard — the fixing has to reach the structural ceiling or a purpose-made mounting element. Worth checking before ordering, because at that mass a correction afterwards means repairing the ceiling. It is protection class I and therefore requires an earth conductor. It runs on 230 V. Suspension height The supply is 3048 mm, over three metres. That is headroom intended for tall rooms and stairwells; in an ordinary flat it is shortened at installation to the length required. Build The structure is stainless steel and the light elements are crystal. The frame finish is champagne gold — a warmer, more muted tone than polished gold, closer to brushed brass.
