Italux Porta LED ceiling light white-grey 50 cm with remote control PLF-19678-WH-BL

Name: Italux Porta LED ceiling light white-grey 50 cm with remote control PLF-19678-WH-BL
Brand: Italux

Italux Porta PLF-19678-WH-BL is a round LED ceiling light with a 50 cm diameter and a white-grey finish. Overlapping circular details create an asymmetric pattern on its underside, framed by a darker outer edge. The plastic and metal-alloy construction combines this geometric appearance with remote-controlled lighting adjustments.A broad face close to the ceilingWith a height of 6.8 cm, Porta keeps its body close to the ceiling rather than hanging into the room. When planning its position, the half-metre diameter is therefore more relevant than a pendant drop. Compare that footprint with the room width and the position of other ceiling fittings before choosing the mounting location. The white surface, grey border and layered circles support a modern or modernist interior. It is not a plain white disc: the contrasting perimeter remains part of the design when the light is viewed from below. The circular decoration provides detail without introducing a suspended shade.Brightness and colour controlled separatelyThe LED source is rated at 40 W, with a manufacturer-stated luminous flux of 2900 lm. For a living room, kitchen or study, compare that output with the room size and the rest of the lighting scheme; wattage alone does not describe how much light is available. The remote control adjusts brightness and light colour. Settings of 3000 K, 4000 K and 6500 K provide warm, neutral and cool white choices. Italux also specifies adjustment over 3000–6000 K and a night mode. Colour-temperature adjustment changes the emitted light, not the finish of the fitting: lower values look warmer, while higher values look cooler.General lighting rather than a hanging featureThe shallow body also makes this ceiling fitting worth considering for a hallway, bedroom or hotel room where a pendant would extend further down. In a study, treat it as general lighting rather than assuming it will meet every requirement at the desk. Porta is an interior fitting supplied at 220–240 V. Its IP20 rating must be considered when selecting a location; it is not intended for outdoor use or positions that require protection against water.Show more
