Maytoni Atom C016CL-01B black surface-mounted ceiling spotlight, 1×GU10

Name: Maytoni Atom C016CL-01B black surface-mounted ceiling spotlight, 1×GU10
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Atom C016CL-01B is a black ceiling spotlight with a short cylindrical aluminium body. A circular ring surrounds its single GU10 light source, while the movable inner section lets you change the direction of light without repositioning the whole housing.Allow for the body below the ceilingThe fitting measures 8.5 cm in diameter and 11.5 cm in height. That height projects below the ceiling surface: this is a surface-mounted fitting, not a recessed downlight. When planning its position, consider both the location of the light point and the space occupied by the cylinder. There is no suspended drop or broad decorative shade. The manufacturer's drawing shows a 25° tilt for the inner section. This describes the movement of the fitting, not the beam angle of the bulb. The width of the beam depends on the GU10 source you choose, so aim adjustment and beam spread should be considered separately.Selecting the GU10 sourceThe current Maytoni product page and instruction sheet specify one GU10 source with a maximum rating of 10 W. This is a bulb power limit, not a brightness rating or a statement that every assembled fitting consumes that amount. Colour temperature and luminous output depend on the selected source. Check its actual wattage, light colour and beam angle against the area you intend to illuminate.Maytoni lists this exact variant as non-dimmable. Choosing a dimmable bulb alone does not establish that the complete combination is approved for brightness control. The stated supply is 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz.A restrained shape for zoned lightingThe plain cylinder and absence of decorative arms suit contemporary, modernist and minimalist interiors. Consider it as a local lighting point in living, sleeping or dining areas and corridors, including hotel and restaurant schemes. The number of fittings and their spacing must be chosen for the room and the bulbs used. A single GU10 socket does not establish that one fitting can light an entire room adequately.Show more
