Flush Ceiling Light ARONA Luces Exclusivas LE45860
ARONA is a flush ceiling light built from two rings set with cut crystals, carried under a round gold-finished ceiling plate. The lower ring is wider than the upper one, so the body widens towards the bottom. The frame is steel in a gold finish, and the fill is crystal cubes with faceted faces. How big it is and how to fix it At its widest the fitting measures 50 cm across and drops 23.5 cm from the ceiling. It mounts flush rather than hanging, so it takes exactly those 23.5 cm of room height — worth checking against a 250 cm ceiling. Net weight is 10.1 kg, more than a usual fitting of this diameter. The fixing therefore has to reach a load-bearing part of the ceiling; in a plasterboard ceiling the board and the profile alone are not enough. How much light ARONA gives The built-in LED module draws 46 W and delivers 3465 lm — roughly what four 60 W bulbs used to give, so the fitting is enough for the main light in a room. The colour temperature is 3500 K, between warm white and neutral white: warmer than daylight, but without the yellow cast of a traditional bulb. The cut crystals break part of that light into small reflections that land on the ceiling around the fitting. The source is permanently built in: there is no bulb to buy and none to replace, so once the module is spent the whole fitting is changed. Dimming and supply The fitting can be dimmed, but only with a TRIAC dimmer, which is not included — it has to be bought separately and wired into the circuit. Supply is 230 V straight from the mains, with no separate transformer. Which interior it suits Gold-finished steel and densely set crystals make a glamour-style finish that stays visible when the lamp is off. At 50 cm across the fitting reads as a piece of decor rather than a neutral light point — hence its place over a dining table, in the middle of a living room and in a bedroom.Show more
