Wave 5013 is a pendant built around a black metal frame bent into an arc, hanging from a single central rod under a round ceiling plate. Two globe shades in white opal glass hang from the arc. The arc spans 50 cm, the depth is 14 cm, and the whole fitting measures 95 cm from top to bottom. How much room it takes and where it goes All the weight runs through one rod and one ceiling plate, so a single fixing point is needed at the ceiling — unlike a bar suspended at two places. The build is narrow: at 14 cm deep it fits above a slim worktop or a kitchen island without getting in the way. The overall height of 95 cm is measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the shades. Over a 75 cm dining table and a usual 2.5 m ceiling that puts the shades roughly 70–80 cm above the top — just enough for the light to cover the table without shining into the eyes of anyone sitting opposite. The manufacturer supplies no lamps, so colour and brightness are your choice. An 8 W E14 LED usually gives around 800 lm, roughly what the old 60 W bulb gave — two of them are enough to light a table. The shades are opal glass, which hides the lamp and spreads the light, so what you see is a glowing white sphere rather than a point source. Build Frame and ceiling plate are black painted metal, the shades are glass. The black arc stays clearly visible with the light off — it, and not the globes, gives the fitting its shape.
