GHOST SOLAR is a solar outdoor wall light — it does not connect to the mains at all. A photovoltaic panel built into its top face charges a lithium-ion battery through the day, and the fitting runs off that after dark. Two screws are all the installation it needs; no cable to run and no electrician to call.What that means in practiceA solar wall light can go where there is no power and never will be: on a fence, on the garage wall at the far end of a drive, by a gate, on a summerhouse, on a tool shed. The constraint is not the wiring but access to sun — the panel has to see the sky. The fitting draws 2.4 W, so a full charge covers many separate triggers in one night — and because it lights only on detected movement rather than running continuously, the reserve also carries through several overcast days in a row.The PIR sensor: 120° and 6 metresDetection covers a 120° angle out to 6 metres. Angle and range are not adjustable — a deliberate simplification, but one to keep in mind when choosing a position: you aim this fitting by turning it on the wall, not with a dial. A dusk-to-dawn mode also applies, so the unit works out the time of day for itself and stays inert in daylight.The light260 lumens at 4000 K is the right amount for lighting a threshold, a step or a gate latch — not for lighting a whole garden. Natural white at CRI 80 gives a contrasty, legible picture, which matters more on a security fitting than a warm atmosphere would. The clear polycarbonate diffuser does not scatter the output, so the pool of light has a defined edge.Durability and warrantyThe housing is silver-grey synthetics with an IP44 rating — resistance to rain from any direction, enough for a fitting in the open, though not for a pressurised water jet.
