Lutec BUBBLE 6908701001 is an outdoor solar wall light with a panel across the top of its housing and a PIR sensor set into the stainless-steel ring. Its integrated 2.3 W LED module produces 200 lm of neutral 4000 K light. No mains cable is required, because energy is stored in a 3.7 V, 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery.Motion-operated light after duskThe sensor becomes active at dusk and detects movement across 120° at a distance of up to 12 m when the fitting is mounted at about 2.5 m. Following detection, the light remains on for 60 seconds; at dawn, the sensor is deactivated. Detection settings are not adjustable. This behaviour suits short periods of illumination at an entrance, gate, terrace or passage rather than continuous task lighting throughout the night.An integrated 2.3 W, 200 lm LEDThe non-replaceable LED module is built into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to select. It consumes 2.3 W and provides 200 lm at 4000 K with a colour rendering index of 80. The instructions state that the whole fitting is to be replaced when the light source reaches the end of its service life. A half-round opal polycarbonate diffuser spreads the light and hides individual LEDs. Dimming is not supported.A 1.5 W panel and replaceable batteryThe polycrystalline solar panel is rated at 1.5 W. It charges one 3.7 V, 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery; the instructions identify replacement part 9759804000. The battery can be replaced using the illustrated procedure, but it must not be substituted with a disposable cell or a different rechargeable type.
