The Norlys Narvik II 1736 is a 95 cm bollard light in powder-coated cast aluminium, finished in aluminium RAL 9006. A clear PMMA diffuser sits under the domed cap, and the light leaves on four sides, shielded from above. An access door is set into the shaft. Size, weight and how it is fixed The base fits inside a 24 × 24 cm square and the fitting stands 95 cm above ground — the height at which light falls on the path rather than into the eyes of anyone walking past. The luminaire weighs 10.9 kg on its own and 13.22 kg boxed, in a 31.5 × 29 × 99 cm carton. It bolts down through six 10 × 15 mm oval holes spaced every 60° on a ø172 mm circle. Norlys sells the concrete anchors and foundation adapters separately, so they have to be ordered alongside the bollard. The terminals take up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the fitting to be looped into a run; the gland accepts round cable of ø8–12 mm or ø10–14 mm. The fitting is electrical class 1 and needs an earth. How much light it gives and where it goes The built-in LED module draws 18.1 W and produces 3017 lm, of which 1416 lm leaves the diffuser — a luminaire efficacy of 63.8 lm/W. That covers the stretch of path or driveway around the bollard; for a longer run, spacing is planned from the manufacturer's photometric files. The 3000 K colour is a warm white, and Ra 80 colour rendering is enough for circulation lighting. The BUG rating B1-U3-G1 and the shielded top mean the fitting throws no light straight up. The product carries energy efficiency class C. Weatherproofing and control IP65 allows it to stand unsheltered, through rain and garden watering, and IK10 is the top step of the impact scale. Norlys states an operating range of -20 to +45 °C, gives 25 years of anti-corrosion warranty on the finish and 5 years on the fitting. The luminaire runs on DALI2 with a NightDim function, so dimming needs a DALI controller — an ordinary phase dimmer will not drive it. The driver is rated at 100,000 hours. The LED module can be replaced, but only by an authorised service, not by the owner.Show more
