NARVIK II is a 95 cm cast-aluminium garden bollard finished in graphite. The satin PMMA diffuser releases light through four vertical slots shielded from above, so it lights the ground around the fitting evenly from every side without throwing glare into the sky or into your eyes. At 10.4 kg on a 24 × 24 cm footprint this is a fitting you set once and leave for many seasons. Light output The built-in LED module draws 10.9 W and the complete luminaire 13.4 W from the mains. The diodes produce 2058 lm, of which 757 lm leave the diffuser — a deliberate trade: the satin cover absorbs part of the flux to turn a point source into diffuse, glare-free light. The 4000 K colour is neutral, colour rendering is CRI 80, and SDCM3 colour consistency means a row of bollards along a driveway will all look the same. The BUG rating B1-U3-G1 describes exactly that distribution: minimal spill and no glare. Control and electrics The luminaire is dimmable by trailing-edge phase dimming, so it works with an ordinary LED dimmer. Supply is ~220–240 V, power factor PF 0.9, distortion THD 10%, inrush current 2 A for 50 µs — worth knowing when a dozen bollards share one circuit. Protection class II means double insulation: the installation needs no protective earth conductor. Durability IP65 covers full dust tightness and resistance to water jets; IK10 is the highest impact rating in the standard, which matters for a bollard standing beside a driveway or a pavement. The manufacturer quotes 25 °C as the rated ambient temperature and −20 to +45 °C as the permitted range. The body carries a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty and the luminaire a five-year Norlys warranty. Installation The base has six oval 10 × 15 mm holes spaced every 60° on a ø172 mm circle. Inside are terminals for conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², which lets the supply loop through from bollard to bollard, and a gland for round cable of ø8–12 mm or ø10–14 mm. A service door gives access without dismantling the fitting. The concrete-foundation adapter (index 110), the mounting adapter (3088) and the concreting anchor (505XX0009) are bought separately. Variants in the Narvik family The same body comes in an aluminium finish as 1733AL. Versions 1734GR and 1734AL use a clear diffuser instead of the satin one and deliver 959 lm. The PRO line (22.2 W, DALI2 / NightDim control) offers more light and digital control.
