Garden Post Light NORLYS Modena 304BL black E27 126 cm

Name: Garden Post Light NORLYS Modena 304BL black E27 126 cm
Brand: NORLYS

Modena 304BL is a classic-style garden post light: a hexagonal lantern with a spired roof set on a slender post with a square base. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated in black (RAL 9005), and the lantern panes are clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. Dimensions and installation According to the manufacturer's drawing the light is 126 cm tall and its base is 25 cm wide — figures to compare with the plants and fence along the path where it will stand. It weighs 2.56 kg. The base is fixed through two ø5.5 mm holes spaced 90 mm apart; the concreting anchor 307ZX0009 is sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the loop-through to the next light up to 2 × 1.5 mm², so several lanterns can share one supply line. The EPDM gland accepts a round cable of ø7–10.5 mm. Protection class II means double insulation, so the luminaire needs no earth conductor. Light source and type of light The luminaire has an E27 socket for an A55–A60 shaped bulb, and the manufacturer allows an LED lamp of up to 9 W. No bulb is included. Norlys offers the option of ordering the luminaire with a Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K, dimmable — 806 lm is roughly the brightness of an old 60 W bulb, and 2700 K is warm, yellowish light. The bulb is replaced by the user, without calling a service. The lantern has no directional optic: light leaves through the clear panes equally in all directions (rotationally symmetric distribution), so it lights the path and the border all around the post. The bulb is visible through the panes, which makes its shape and colour part of how the lantern looks. Weather resistance and intended use IP54 means protection against dust and water splashes from any direction, so the light can stand outdoors without a roof over it. The manufacturer gives an operating range of −20 to +45 °C. The lampshade can be replaced — the service kit is number 06350004. Norlys designed Modena for gardens, other private grounds and public spaces: beside a path, on a terrace or along a driveway. A traditional lantern on a post is a classic design, and the Modena series also includes wall lights with the same lantern shape.Show more
