MILPA Luces Exclusivas LED Flush Ceiling Light LE43279 Black 100 cm
MILPA LE43279 is a flush ceiling light shaped as a flat ring 100 cm across, made of aluminium and finished in matte black. The light leaves through an acrylic diffuser that runs along the inner edge of the ring. The fitting is 7.8 cm deep and mounts straight onto the ceiling, with no drop. How much ceiling it takes up The ring covers a circle 100 cm in diameter. It is worth marking that out on your own ceiling before ordering, because a fitting this size needs a clear surface with no beams, mouldings or curtain tracks in the way. At 7.8 cm deep the luminaire sits close against the ceiling and does not reach down into the room. That makes it usable where a pendant would be in the way: in rooms with a low ceiling and above walkways. How much light it gives and of what colour The light source is built in and supplied with the fitting: an integrated 60 W LED module rated at 3389 lm. The luminaire therefore lights up as soon as it is wired in, and no bulb has to be bought separately. The module cannot be replaced, so at the end of its life the whole fitting is changed. 3389 lm is more than four times a former 60 W incandescent bulb, which puts it at the level of a room's main lighting rather than an accent. The 3000 K colour is warm white: warmer than daylight, but without the distinctly yellow cast of 2700 K. Build and the rooms it is intended for The body is aluminium and the diffuser acrylic. Matte black produces no pinpoint reflections in daylight, so when switched off the fitting stays an even dark ring on the ceiling. The form is minimalist and modern: one closed circle with no ornament and no visible joints. The manufacturer intends this fitting for the living room, the bedroom and the dining room, that is wherever the ceiling light is the main light in the room.
