MELODY is a five-arm steel chandelier finished in antique gold and hung on a chain with a round ceiling rose. The arms sweep out from the central stem and end in candle-shaped sleeves, each with a clear glass element set beneath it. There are no shades — the bulbs stay exposed. How big it is and where to hang it The chandelier spans 52 cm in both directions and stands 88 cm tall including the chain and the rose. Compare that with your own ceiling height: above a dining table with a 75 cm top, the lower edge should sit 70–80 cm above the surface, so in a standard room the chain is usually shortened. You choose the light colour with the bulbs: 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light close to an old filament lamp, 3000 K is warm white. The fitting has no control gear of its own, so dimming depends on dimmable bulbs and a dimmer in the circuit. Finish and where it may be installed Body, arms and sleeves are steel in an antique gold finish; the curved lines and candle sleeves are the shape of a traditional chandelier.
