Marietta 104112 is an Endon pendant with five E14 lampholders and a two-tier shade of clear glass rods. The body, ceiling rose and chain are metal in a polished nickel finish. Drop is shortened on the chain; a 1.5 m clear cable runs from the rose. How large it is and where to hang it The shade is 50 cm in diameter. Compare that figure with the width of the table: over a top of about 100 cm the shade stays within the table surface and does not project clearly beyond the edge. Drop adjusts from 62 to 200 cm. The lower rim of the shade is usually set 70–80 cm above the tabletop so the light covers the table and does not shine into the eyes of people sitting there. The fitting weighs 4.9 kg. Endon expects fixing into a solid ceiling, preferably a joist or a joist bridge, and supplies screws and wall plugs rated for masonry. Polished nickel and two rows of glass rods give the shade a clear outline — the pendant occupies the centre of the room rather than sitting against a wall. The Marietta series also includes other fittings in the same finish. The construction is Class I and must be earthed. Supply is 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Endon gives a two-year warranty.
